How to play Gems 2048
- Slide every gem at once with the arrow keys, or swipe.
- When two gems showing the same number touch, they merge into one gem worth double — and the bigger a gem gets, the more cut and colour it takes on.
- Every move that changes something drops a new gem onto the board.
- Reach 2048 to win. It ends when the board is full and nothing can merge.
About Gems 2048
Gems 2048 is the classic 2048 sliding-number puzzle on a 4×4 board, played with cut gems instead of flat tiles. Each merge adds the new gem's value to your score, so the bigger the merges you chain, the faster it climbs.
A good habit is to keep your biggest gem in one corner and build towards it along one edge: most runs end when a stray small gem gets stuck behind a big one. Press New game, or R, to start again at any time.
When a game ends with a score good enough for the top 25, you can put your name on the leaderboard. No account is needed; the name is remembered in your browser for next time.
